Woodland House

Set within acres of woodland, this Sussex country home was designed to feel warm, grounded and deeply personal. KINDLY was invited to complete the interior design following the main refurbishment works, building on the existing architectural finishes to create a more cohesive, characterful and considered family retreat.

Across the house, bespoke furniture, layered window treatments, artwork and carefully chosen decorative details bring individuality, comfort and a sense of provenance to each space. A calm palette of moss green, warm neutrals, soft stone, timber and richly textured fabrics creates a natural connection to the surrounding landscape, while sculptural lighting, marble, tailored upholstery and considered styling add a quiet sense of luxury.

From the generous drawing room and light-filled garden room to the dramatic dining space, guest bedroom and intimate details, the home balances elegance with ease. The result is a luxurious country house interior that feels refined, welcoming and made for real family life, entertaining and retreat.
