The Room Scheme for considered spaces
A complete interior design and procurement service for one room, or a defined area of your home, that calls for clarity, cohesion and care.
The Room Scheme is created for clients who want the same considered approach as our Full Service Interior Design, applied to a smaller part of the home. It is not a lighter version of our work, but a more focused scope, designed to resolve a specific space beautifully.
Whether you are reimagining a sitting room, bedroom, dining space, home office or open-plan area, we create and deliver a complete interior scheme that brings together layout, colour, furniture, lighting, texture, sourcing and styling.
Every element is considered for how it looks, feels and functions, creating a room with comfort, atmosphere and lasting ease.
Complete room design, thoughtfully resolved
WHO THIS IS FOR
The Room Scheme is created for clients looking for a clear, cohesive and fully supported design direction for one room or a defined area of their home.
It is particularly suited to spaces that feel unfinished, disconnected or difficult to pull together, especially where furniture, colour, lighting, layout and styling need to be considered as one whole.
You may have a room that has never quite worked, a space that no longer supports the way you live, or a particular area of your home that would benefit from a more refined and practical design direction.
This service is ideal if you value thoughtful sourcing, natural materials, procurement support and a beautifully resolved interior, but do not require a full home design service.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
The Room Scheme brings together the design, sourcing and procurement needed to create a complete, considered room.
Depending on the scope, this may include:
Creative direction and concept design
Space planning and furniture layout
Colour, material and finish palette
Furniture and lighting direction
Fabric and window treatment direction
Sourcing and specification
Procurement of approved pieces
Supplier coordination and order management
Styling and finishing details
Installation guidance or styling support, where required
We consider how the room will work as carefully as how it will look, from flow and proportion to comfort, storage, lighting, durability and the overall atmosphere of the space.
OUR APPROACH
We begin by understanding the room, the wider context of your home and the way the space needs to function. This includes how it is used day to day, what currently feels unresolved and what the room needs to support.
From there, we develop a clear design direction that brings together layout, palette, furniture, lighting, materials, sourcing and styling. Each element is considered in relation to the whole, so the room feels cohesive rather than assembled piece by piece.
Once the scheme is agreed, we manage the procurement of approved items, coordinating with suppliers and helping bring the design from concept into reality.
The result is a space that feels layered, natural and quietly refined, with the practical support needed to make it happen.
A focused design service, shaped around your space
-
The Room Scheme is best suited to one room or a clearly defined area of your home where you would like a complete design direction and support bringing it together.
It may be the right choice if the space feels unfinished, lacks cohesion, or needs a more considered approach before you invest in furniture, lighting, finishes, window treatments or styling.
If your project involves several rooms, renovation work, architectural changes or a wider design journey, Full Service Interior Design may be more appropriate.
-
Not always. The Room Scheme can work well for one room, or for a defined area such as an open-plan living space, entrance area, principal bedroom suite or connected living and dining space.
The important factor is that the scope is focused and clearly defined. If the design needs to connect multiple areas of the home in more depth, we can advise whether Full Service Interior Design would be a better fit.We work in unison with architects, contractors and specialist trades who understand the vision, so details around layout, lighting, materials, joinery and furnishings are considered together from the start. When the whole team is aligned early, the process is smoother, decisions are clearer, and time and budget are used more effectively.
-
You will receive a complete design scheme for your space, tailored to the brief and level of support required.
This may include layout guidance, colour and material direction, furniture and lighting selections, sourcing, specification, procurement of approved pieces and styling direction.
The aim is to give you both a cohesive scheme and the support to bring it into your home with clarity and confidence.
-
Yes. The Room Scheme includes procurement of approved pieces within the agreed scope.
This means we can help source, order and coordinate key items for your space, ensuring the final result remains aligned with the design intent. Procurement details will be outlined clearly within your proposal.
-
Once we receive your enquiry, we will review the details you have shared and consider whether The Room Scheme is the most appropriate fit.
If it feels aligned, we will arrange an initial call to understand the space, what is not currently working and the level of support you are looking for.
From there, we can advise on the next steps and, where suitable, prepare a tailored proposal outlining the scope of the room scheme.
